When I hear about overpopulation and because of it the degradation of the environment of the planet, I am offended. We are ripping out our heritage and spreading like a cancer over the surface of the planet. I see beautiful, pristine landscapes ruined by human habitation. People rush to live in the few remaining pristine places and by so doing make them unlivable. There are so many people that people are no longer beautiful.

I am offended that we Americans are so worried about losing our plush lifestyles that we turn to hardhearted beliefs and political action says something about our fears and a wound in our souls.

I am offended that the word "liberal" has been given a bad connotation. I don't like the new liberals or conservatives. There is no real liberal party in this country. Conservatism should not be in opposition to civil liberties, in fact should support them.

I can't trust either the liberal or conservative politicians. Most seem to have few principles. But Jesse Helms does. I wish he should drop dead in agony this minute for his bigotry, but at least I can hate him because I can trust to know where he stands and that he will work against what I hold sacred.

I am offended by crass consumerism and commercialism, especially on holidays. Everyone must have the latest new gadget. It seems the only progress or attainment we know is material.

I am offended by bigotry against others for wishing to live alternate lifestyles and beliefs.

I am offended by classism, racism and sexism.

I am offended by religious intolerance.

I am offended by censorship in any form.

I am offended by entrapment to catch potential criminals.

I am offended by crime.

I am offended that our democracy isn't very democratic.

I am offended that we haven't taught the basis for human rights.

Anger Speaking:

If the heteros only knew what we gays do for culture they would fall to their knees wailing and gnashing their teeth in penance for their crimes of persecution. If they were to rid society of gays they would be cutting off their own balls.

If I survive the downfall of western culture I want to sew metaphorical salt in the philosophical ruins of our civilization so that it can never again spew its malignancy on the planet. it has been the most inhumane culture in all of human history.

Perhaps those of us who are deemed weak, too sensitive, freaks, social misfits, unstable, even deranged or just too other-directed and different to fit into our civilization are actually the sane ones who can't or won't fit into an inhumane cultural aberration.
